Certain types of incidents are subject to flat-rate compensation, meaning compensation with a fixed amount calculated based on average costs recorded on Getaround.
The amounts vary depending on the car category, and if the claim is accepted, the flat-rate amount is settled in the same manner as other claims.

Please note that compensation for the battery, keys, and a flat tire is subject to the presentation to Getaround of an invoice confirming the actual replacement, as well as a purchase invoice for the replaced part when required. The invoice must be provided by the driver to Getaround within seven (7) business days from the date of validation of the file by Getaround.
